I am very excited to announce that Fill the Gap Marketing is launching a monthly marketing group aimed at helping small and medium sized businesses to take advantage of the many benefits that marketing can bring.

It’s about learning. It’s about meeting new people. It’s about growing your business.

We will provide marketing advice, ideas and education. If you want to grow, The Fill the Gap Marketing Academy is your springboard. Based in Lincoln, it will bring local businesses together, once a month to discuss, collaborate and be inspired . .  by each other and by our resident marketing specialists.

The format of the meetings is still being finalised and we would love your opinion. Please take 2 minutes to tell us what you think.

The cost will be £10 per meeting.  Booking will be online via Event Brite.  Pay as you go, no membership required.

Marketing Specialists will all be identified with a distinctive badge and you are welcome to ask them any questions throughout the evening.

Venue will be either ThinkTank or Sparkhouse, both on the Lincoln University campus.

I am also going to talk to the Chartered Institute of Marketing (of which I am a Lincolnshire branch committee member) to see if we can do some cross-fertilisation with them – I think this will benefit both groups. There will be links with the University, which will be enhanced by the location, however the emphasis will be on business.  Growing your business.

The first meeting of the Fill the Gap Marketing Academy will be in September.

I am passionate about marketing.  Great marketing can truly be the difference between a business strolling along and a business taking a hop, skip and a jump towards a bigger and better future.
